VOGUE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES. DECLINE IN BRITISH BUILDING. CPross Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.} LONDON, January 10. (Received Jan. 11, at 8.5 p.m.) Tho continued vogue of shipping fitted with internal ccmbustion engines is revealed in Lloyd’s shipbuilding returns, which show that out of a total tonnage under construction in all countries at Deer her 31, 1933 motor ships accounted for 906,000 tons. The tonnage under construction in Britain was 760,000, which is 125,000 less than last srenr.5 r enr. The tonnage building abroad is 1,173,000, or 97,000 above last year.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
