NO RECENT CHANGE
£Ps« United Press AssaaiATKW.; WELLINGTON, May 7, No official bulletin with regard to the Prime Minister’s health was issued to-day. It was learned, however, that Mr Massey's condition had not undergone any change since the improvement reported a few days ago. EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY. A Press Association message from Wellington states that at the annual meeting of the. executive of the Liberal-Labour Federation (Halt branch) last night, the following resolution was passed:—“That the Liberal-Labour Federation (Hutfc branch) endorses the attitude of the LiberalLabour Lender (Mr T. M. Wilford) in refraining from platform work during the serious illness of the Prime Minister, and joins with him (Mr Wilford) in hoping, that the Prime Minister will be restored to health and strength.” Before proceeding with the_ business at the meeting of the No. 17 District Highways' Council yesterday, the Chairman (Mr E. F. Evans) referred to the illness of the Prime Minister, and said that they all noted with pleasure the improvement in, his condition during the past few days. The secretary was instructed to forward a letter of sympathy to Mr Massey. a At the meeting in Wellington yesterday of the New Zealand Alliance, a unanimous vote of sympathy was passed.
