VIEWS OF SIR FREDERICK CHAPMAN. Pr»BB Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 6. Sir Frederick and Lady Chapman have arrived from New' Zealand. Sir Frederick Chapman, in an interview', said that as lie had visited France during the Franco-Prussian War he W'as interested to discover the result of tho restoration of Alsace and Lorraine. He inquired closely among many classes. Except for minor differences in religious and educational affairs tho inhabitants were absolutely reunited to France, and did not desire to see a German oliicial or soldier again. It was also obvious that the Gormans did not desire to recover Alsaee and Lorraine, although they wanted to readjust their eastern boundary.—Sydney Sun Cable.
