LORD MILNER, A CANDIDATE

A meeting of the members of the Court of Convocation last evening unanimously adopted Lord Milner as candidate for the Chancellorship of Oxford University. It was stated that Lord Milner’s illness a few days ago appeared likely to prevent his candidature, but the outlook of his health has since boon most optimistic.— Reuter.
