QUESTIONS IN THE COMMONS. LOANS FOR COLONIES. (*r*as Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 6. In addition to the New Zealand loan of £7,000,000, the rate of which is not yet fixed, the New South Wales £6,500,C00 and the West Australia £2,0C0.000 loans are impending, but will probably be delayed some weeks owing to the market conditions. Replying to questions in the House of Commons, Mr Walter Guinness said that Britain and Australia had agreed to accept repayment of £2,000,000 and £1,200,000 respectively of Rumanian relief 1 winds, which matured on January 1, bv capital instalments spread over 15 years at 5 per cent, interest.—A. and N.Z.
