(Received Aug. 1, at 8.15 p.m.) Sir Samuel M'Gaughey's bequests include about £400,000 to the Sydney University, £200,000 to the Brisbane University, £250,000 to the Presbyterian Church in New South Wales and Queensland, and a large sum for the widows and orphans of soldiere who were killed in the war.
