ANDERSON'S BAY CLUB Tho annual report, states that owing to the influenza opidemio and the bad weather conditions at the opening of tho season, tho membership fell somewhat lower than ww anticipated. During tho year there wero 46 full members enrolled, three honorary members, and two life members. Twelve inter-club matches were played, of which four were won by the club. Tho club ties resulted' as foUows :-Senior Championship, ™ ?• & C^P 1 *?! 1 ; Junior Championship Mr A. Orr; Handicap Singles, Mr A Mor nson; Handicap Doubles, Mr F. J. Campbell and Mr G. Grant. Rinks wero not played, as thero was not a sufficiency cf experienced players to make a success of this competition.

Tho annual report of tho Anderson's Bay Bowtetg and Croquet Company, states that since tho last meeting of shareholders 112 shares haio been allotted, making a total of 1142 shares taken up. Though the profit and loss account shows a loss of £54 9s lid for tho year, after allowing £32 for depreciation written off pavilion, plant, etc. tho company has no creditors other than Mr J. G. Sa-well, to whom a balance of £425 is duo on tho purchase of tho freehold. The total of unpaid calls amounts to £10 12s 6d, - all of which the drreotors hope will shortly bo paid. Tho directors have completed the first floor of the permanent pavilion at a cost of £402 15s, together with boxes, costing £35 ss. Mr Low. the greenkeeper, resigned during the year, and tho Green Committee is endeavouring to secure tho services of a saitablo man. So far the directors havo not been able to lay down the croquet lawn, but a proposal will come beforo tho meeting to form a ladies' bowling club in tho meantime. Messrs A. J. Rutherford and R. M'K. MTiorman aro the retiring directors. Theso gentlemen do not deairo ro-eloction. Owing to Mr A. M. Cameron having loft Duncdin, Mr Gordon Sutherland was appointed auditor. Mr Sutherland offers himself for re-election.
