o ANNUAL MEETOSGi. The Mornington Bowling , CBui> held its annual meeting last week. Mr D. M. Blyth (vice-president) presided over an attendance of about 20 members. Tlio annual report and balance sheet slated that the club was in a sound finan- ' cial position, tho ussistanco given by the Jadies being of a very substantial nature. Tho results of interclub matches placed the club in a creditable position. Tho various club ties resulted as follows:—Champion Singles, J. L. Smith; Champion Doubles, l>. Cunningham, and T. Whelan; Handicap Singles, j. A. Andersou; Subscription Doubles, D. Cunningham and W. S. Neill. Two billiard tournaments were held, tlie prizes donated by Mr A. J. Botting being won by Mr G. JJ. Wilson and Mr J. T. Bell. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr D. M. Blyth; vicepro3i lent, Mr W. Easton; secretary, Mr 11. Crawford; treasurer, Mr J. L. Smith; delegates to centre, Messrs T. O. Couli and P. Caroiin; selector, Mr T. 0. Coull; committee—Mesara J. Hope, J. Hendry. J. G. Sa'well, R Caldow D. Cunningham, J. P. Bardie, and W. S. NeilL Appreciative reference was made- to the Work done by the retiring treasurer (Mr J. G. Sa.well),_ -nho had held that position since the formation of the club.
