CHALLENGE AND SUPPLEMENTARY ■The Dunodin. Plumpton Coursing Club continued its meeting at Forbury Park on Saturday m perfect; weather, and over ground that was of the best description rhe attendance was not very Wβ Ct tf *«*«* wore treated to some'gSd limb. It was a case of two vigorous and speedy dogs being released to an equally vigorous and speedy hare, which m the end beat the doga badlvBoth dogs tired, especially Londonderry before the hare escaped. Dash Kaka led Oamaru Brick, but after tho lead up the ; dogs met on fairly equal terms, any difference- not being sufficient to wipe out the original score- put up by Dash Kaka. Grand March led Vorbena by five lengths, aadSSn afterwardsi " flicked." The course ended in a kill, with the score in favour of Grand March. Actor and Ctaward made a good run to tho hare, not much separating them A short but interesting course followed' and Actor cannot.have won by very much.' Dash Kaka led Sparrowhawk, in tho sornilinal of tho Supplementary Stake, by a couple of lengths, and had the score wc il in hand when the hare escaped. Grand March led Actor, and rrovod very keen on tho game. The hare doubled halfway back, and in the latter part of tho course Actor showed up, but could not equalise matters. In the final of tho Supplementary Stako Dash Kaka suffered defeat by Grand March, lho two dogs ran an undecided in tho first instance, and on being returned to the slip and released for the second time they ran a good run to the hare. Grand March had somewhat of tho advantage and kept supremacy, though Dash Kaka put in some good work.
