A keen wit and ready patter serve to enhance considerably what is said to be a performance far above tho ordinary Lo Roy has fought along with the New Zealand soldiers during tie groat war, and was wounded on three separate occasion* dually boing blown up by a mine, and was buried in "No Man's Land" for several days and nights, causing him to lose his sight, hearing, and speech for seven months which faculties are oven now only partly restored, ho having lost permanently the sight of ono eyo and hearing of one ear.
