"SNOW-WHITE"

d most enthusiastic audience filled His Majesty's Theatre last night to witness the second production of tho charming fairy opera " Srow-whito and the Seven Dwarfs, produced, by Miss G. Helen l*ard nar and her clever juveniles. The littlo people, and their elders taking part also, have learned much from the experienco of tho first night; and carried tho performance through with great smoothness and antiro success. Many of the effects obtained by the dresses and staging are strikingly and delightful to witness apart altogether >!rom tho charm of the musw. Tho wliire ballot towards tho close particularly captivated tho audience, and was one of tho most decided successes of tho evening. Miss Majorio Lemon, as tho Princess Frederica, rendered the two solos falling to her in a mariner that won unstinted approval. Among others not previously mentioned who did much to maintain tho high standard oif the whole entertainment, place must bo given to Miss Irene Heywood (the poet), and Miss Emil v Wilson (the Jester); and among tho little folk tile clever performances of Roa Lambert, Sylvia Taylor, and Alfio Wilson aro deserving 'if special mention. It is interesting to learn that the ballets and solo danccs in tho piece wcro taught by Miss Dorothy Saunders, of Wellington, while she was on a brief visit to Dunodin some three months ago. "Snow Whito " will bo produced at a matinee this afternoon, and tho final performance will be given .this evening. *
