A terriblo scene was witnessed on. a recent afternoon in a Bordeaux suburb, when a group of American soldiers fired on the crowd strolling in the sunshine, and wounded several persons. A shot was fired in return, killing an American. During the ensuing scuffle an American soldier committed suicide by blowing out his brains, and another, who climbed an electric tram standard, was electrocuted.
