YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.
The monthly meeting of the T.M.C A Board of Directors was held on Thursday afternoon, the president (Mr H. K. Wilkinson) occupying the chair. A letter was. received from Mr G. \V W iS. Hughes, stating that, in view of special developments in the work of the National Committee of., the Y.M.C.A., he had accepted a position on the national staff, and desired to be relieved from the local position. The was accepted with rep-et, Mr V. T. Drew, acting general secretary bemg' appointed to the facant posiThe appointment of Mr J.' V. assoldier s ' secretary was confirmed. The reports showed good average activities, 171 applications for membership being received, 140 of them being returned soldiers. .The attendance at the building for the memth had been 7405. The physical report showed 123 members 'in 34 classes. The religious work report showed meetings for. prayer, Sundav afternoon meetings, B#>lo classes, pulpit supplies, and foreign work.
Tho Junior Committee reported: Attendn ] nt i e ' ' scouts going Well; football clubs, lunch clubs, etc.; 120 men have been in residence during the month, 5200 meals being served.
