CHRISTOHURCH, July 24 The caso in which Maude Eliza Felton claimed £500 damages and asked for an injunction against the Aldington Iron Rollinir Mills was -concluded in the Supremo Court to-day, judgment beincr fjiven for the defendants, without costs. Much evidence was given that the operations of tho defendants did not cause annoyance, and in pivlnff judgment Mr Justice llordman eaid it had not boon proved that tho plaintiff's property had deteriorated. He was satisfied that the locality was not a residential area, but an industrial part of the city.
