FOOD SUPPLIES IN FRANCE
SHORTAGE THREATENED,
HARVEST BELOW REQUIREMENTS.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, July 22. • : "We are threatened m 1920 with a dearth of food. The supply of corn is assured only to August 31 as a result of a deficit in the harvest. We ar« short by 3,540 quintals for 1919-20. We must therefore obtain economic collaboration with Britain and America. If that fails, we will suffer a food crisis greater than that of the war time."—A. and N Z Cable.
