Wellington arrived from the North at 3.20 p.m. yesterday. She left the Manukau at I p.m., on the 7th insfc. ; arrived at Taraimki at 7.15 a.m. next day ; sailed again at 9.30, and arrived off Nelson at midnight, having experienced utrong S.W. winds with heavy sea and rain. ijcib at 11 a.m. on the 9th, and reached Picton 11.30 i>.m., having called at For«yth Inland and 1 itiranga; left Picton at 4.45 a.m. on the 10th, and arrived at Wellington at 11.30 a.m., having experienced light, variable, and strong N. W. winds and line -weather from Nelson ; left Wellington at 10.10 a.m. on the 11th ; hud fresh N.W. and S. K. winds, with fine weather, to arrival at Lyttelton at 7.40 a.m. on the Pith ; wailed again at 1.20 p in., and experienced strong S.W. winds and heavy sea till 7 a.m., moderate N. The Wellington goes into the <3raring Dock for a cleansing and repainting, and nails for the North on Saturday, The Wellington spoke the barque Ayr, from Lyttelton to Auckland, on Saturday morning, and again on Sunday afternoon in Cook Strait. She requested to be reported all well. The s.B. Maori left Oamaru at 0 p.m., and arrived at Dunedin jetty at midnight, having experienced line weather on the passage. The ketch Defiance, and a small fore-and .aft achooner, sailed for the Coast yesterday afternoon. The ship Napier, from London, which has been at anchor in the Quarantine- ground for the last few days, was moved up yesterday forenoon, by the p.s. Geehjng, to ft handy berth off Rocky Point.
