(To the Editor of the Daily Times.) * Slßjr"i!l ? ou, r issue pf t°-d&y I notice a letter fro it Mr De Lade, calUa^ attention of the authorities to the incorrectness of the Weighing Machine I remember weighing two drays complained of, on the 20th ultimo, and my notice was called by the carter* to the difference of weight, given by Mr De 0 trie aid the machine, and I have every reason 'to bdieve^weight given by the machine was correct witmn 7 lbs or each load.
1 may also further state that we are in tlie habit of weighing potatoes aud orher produce daily, and have an opportunity of testing the machine with other scales aud weights, and can safely say that the weights given are invariably correct, within a few pounds, iv each cart loa-J.
