(FROM OUR SPECIAL KEPORTER.) Business has been brisk; parties starting for the new rushes having taken large supplies of goods. Flour, after reaching Is 3d per Ib, lias again tallen to Is. Mining tools are now more plentiful. Heavy caHeo is not obtainable at any price ; light quality is bringing 3s per yard, Pine timber also continues scarce. The arrival of a raft of timber from the Lakes has partly met the demand. The exodus of Fox's rush is causing a slight feeling of alarm amongst some of our business men, but confidence is otherwise generally maintained. The supply at present is fully equal to the demand. _ Horses are very scarce, and high prices are freely friven for a very inferior class of animal. Anything is saleable at present.
