On the morning of the Cth she was awoke about four o'clock l>y hearing a noise in. her tent, and she discovered the prisoner crouched on his bauds and knees at the foot of her bed. She immediately uttered an exciamatiou of alarm, and jumped out of bed, nnd the prisoner slunk out,' and she watched him return to his own tent; she afterwards'sjave the prisoner in custody. She.inras positive the prisoner was the man. -i The charge was clearly proved, and evidence' was also given of--the prisoner's antecedents, which were prove! to,have been bad. He had been before this Court only a few days before, and discharged with a caiuion. His Worship sentenced him to \i days imprisonment,- with hard labor. John Smith, brought up on remand for stealing money from a tent, was discharged.
