ORIGINAL CORRESPONDENCE.
MUSICAL ASSOCIATION. {To the Editor of the Daily Times.) ' Sir—From one of your last week's papers I am sorry to learn that the* Duueslin Musical Association ha 3 ceased to exist. I have some years been connected Avith a Sacred Harmonic Society, and shall be i sorry if I have to forego so pleasing a source of improvement and recreation. I have heard there was a deficiency of treble voices, also that the Melbourne Philharmonic Society began with four, and in attending one of their rehearsals a few weeks since, I was surprised with the numbers and efficiency of the choir. I hope something of the same will bs begun again here. Should the few lovers of music in this city organise a fresh society, I think I may venture to promise at least four treble voices, if that would be any encouragement to others. If you will insert these few lines iv your valuable paper, you will oblige A Treble Chorus Singer. Dunedin, October 29.
