Browning, Ksr;., in the chair..'About twenty shareholders were present.' The minutes of preceding meetings having been read and confirmed, the mana- • per. Mr. Gr. P: Tierce read the following Report and Statement of Accounts lor half-year ended 80th Noy., 1861: — . ' "itEPORT. " The Directors have much pleasure in presenting to the shareholders a Report ami" balance sheet for the half-year ending 30th November last, and would have called them1 together at a much earlier period but for the delay occasioned iv effecting the arrangements -for I the extension of the Company's capital and operations. ' ■ • -. '" ."The new Deed of Settlement will be ready for signature in a few days; printed proofs are now on the table for perusal.. . ' - " The Directors have decided that the reserve fund and profit for the half-year ending 30th.
