A Sale of Allotments in the Township of Waihola will be held at the SCHOOL-HOUSE, WAIHOLA, on TUESDAY, the 29th APRIL, at o'clock. The Township of Waihola is situated on the Lake o the same name, about eight miles above the Taieri Ferry, and on the main route to the goldfield and _to the southern districts, the Government rond to which passes through the town. The approach to it by the Taieri River is being cleared of obstructions, and very shortly vessels of a hundred tons will be able to come from the seaboard to alongside the Jetty already erected in the town, thus saving thirty miles of laud carriage from Dunedin. A regular steamer already runs up the river from Dunedin. A metalled road is about being finished to the Tokoniairiro River. There is an abundance of bush land in the neighborhood. Upset price ■ £12 10s, j A sale of allotments in the township of Molyneux will be held at the OLUTHA FERRY, Ox Thursday, Ist op May, At 12 o'clock. The township of Molyneux, lately established, bids fair to become one of the principal seaport towns. It is situate on the mouth of the Molyneux, immediately inside the Bar, so that ships can come up to it after passing through. A Jetty for landing goods is about to be erected, and steamers and vessels .of 150 tons will :be able to come close alongside. A Custom House has been established, and the Molyneux town has been declared a port of entry. The navigation of the river is easy. Steamers can get up to within easy access of the older gold fields, and also to the newly reported gold workings at the junction of the Tuapeka River with the Molyneux. Large supplies of coal or lignite are obtainable in the neighborhood of the river, and the Government* coal field is immediately contiguous. Negotiations are pending fov placing a steamer onthe river, and in time a large amount of goods for the diggings will doubtless be forwarded by this route. ; . . -. ■ ', . -..'
