Information reached town last evening that a nqw rush lm'rt taken place to a spot about fqi'ty miles distant t'rbm Waipori'.' No particulars transpired respecting it, but it was known thpt about two hundred miners had started from Waitaliimii in addition tp those who had. gonp from Waipori. It is quite possible that this mity turn out to be a false report and we would the rcfore caution miners against being led .away to follow what may possibly prove a " will-o'-the-wisp," before more delinite intelligence is obtained.
