RETURN VISIT OF THE SCARLET TROUBADOURS.

Many people will remember with pleasure the enjoyable performances given some weeks ago by Mr EdwaTd Branscombe's Scarlet Troubadours in this town. That treat is again in store for them, since they are paying a return visit to Oamaru, in the Municipal Opera House, on Saturday, January 30th, when an entirely new programme will be presented. A novel and interesting feature in this programme will be the first appearance in Oamaru of Mr Percival Mackenzie, the famous lightning sketch artist and cartoonist. He has been twice honored with a command to appear before Ea n g Edward and the members of the Royal Family. The company have lately been fortunate in securing the services of Miss Gertrude Parker, who for some years has been a leading member of George Edwardes' companies. She is tEe possessor of a good soprano voice, and is also a compelling and dainty comedian. The box plan will be open to-day at the Dresden, and day sales may be obtained! at Meldrum's.
