TO-MORROW'S PROGRAMME.

To-morrow, being Christmas Day, will of course be observed as a general holiday. In the way of public gatherings, holiday-seekers will be limited to a choice between the sports at Kakanui and those at Ngapara, but no doubt many of our readers will prefer organising private picnics or other family gatherings. Those who, however, seek to spend their Christmas in a more public, but still enjoyable, manner could not do better than attend the sports at either of the places named. At Kakanui the presence of the Rifles' Band will form an at; whilp the spirts at Si gapara will be enlivened by the resuscitated Artillery Band, which will make its first public appearance. For Monday the programme will be more varied. A full list of the events for that day will be given in our next issue.
