The barque Bernica arrived this from Newcastle with a cargo of 475 tons of coal, after a rather protracted passage of 21 days. The schooners Wanganui and Maggie Paterson arrived this morning from Grevmouth. . , . The schooner Martha Reid arrived last night from Foxton, with timber. The s.s. Hawea, a stranger to this port, arrived last night from Dunedin to fill up with wool, and sailed on her return trip this morning.
