Capetown, October 10. The attack on the Nagatis was followed up by an attack on Niharns Hocka, a small station garrisoned by thirteen Europeans, under Mr. Surmon, and some twenty native police. Twice has the little bend been opposed by a party of Basutos, estimated at 3000 men, hut on each occasion the assailants have been beaten off. The position of the little garrison was, however, so crritical that it was determined to effect their relief, and on day last a column some 300. strong marched in and brought out the garrison. The rebels opposed the march, but unsuccessfully, losing a number of men. The British loss was only one man killed and five wounded.
