A Government telegram from the camp states that yesterday about 50 natives, nearly all men, came to the camp fence early in the morning, bringing stakes and branches, a few of which they stuck in the ground; the remainder they.threw across the road. They then retired. This morning two of the Armed Constabulary, who were goitig from the camp to Opnnake on leave, were stopped by about 30 natives at a place called Parawa, where they have erected a fence across the road, and were not allowed to proceed. They had to. go round by the beach.
