The entries for the metropolitan show are as follows :—Sheep, 251; cattle, 178 ; horses, 147 ; other live stock, 82 ; dairy produce and preserved meats, 115 ; New Zealand manufactures, 156 ; implements, 340 ; total, 1269. The total last year was 1130. The greatest increase is in the last two sections, while sheep and cattle show a decrease.
