Society's Sho,w, Melboiirng, and gained numerous first prices at vayioup shows in Victoria, | only being defeated once hythe imported 1 mare Glasgow Maggie, which was sold at Mr.; M'Cullooh's sale for 830 guineas, and since coming to New Zealand has been the champion mare at Timaru and Oamaru for the last seven year*. Her dam, PrincessjMaggie, the winner of 27 first and 3 second prizes, was bred by Messrs, Nelson and Thomson, i Victoria, fier sire was Heather Jock, by the renowned priae-taker Blaokleg, whioh horse gained .more first prizes than any other horse in the Colonies.
