About 280,000 have been disposed, of, 160,000 of" wfticih were taken for export. 35,000 bales have been held over for future disposal. We expect next sales will open at, about the present quotations. London, September 25. The sales closed firm compared with closing rates of last sales. Prices for good combing fleece and grease rather higher ; for clothing sorts, particularly f o t» superior and faulty wools, rather lower Prices for cross-breds and combing scoured are equal to closing of last series. The quantity held over and withdrawn from present series comprises 35,000 bales.
