DIRECT AUSTRALIAN NEWS,
(keuteivs telegram per press association.) Melbourne, September 21. The overland line between Adelaide and Port J}cirv?in is down, and telegraphio communication with Europe is interrupted. The Victorian Government lias fixed the minimum of the two million loan, -which will shortly be issued in the London market, at LlOl. The Argus to-day publishes articles commenting in highly eulogistic terms on the character and services of Sir Hercules Robinson.
