The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report aa follows, by cable : At the wool sales, competition by both Home and Foreign buyers is active. Up to date, 140,000 bales have been sold, Superior greasy, superior combing, washed, medium, and inferior combing (washed and scoured) have advanced M to> Id per lb. For lamb wools the market is; firmer. Clothing washed is unchanged,, as also is faulty scoured. Seedy and> burry wools are neglected. Of wheat, the foreign arrivals are heavy. Adelaide is worth 455, and New Zealand 435, per 4961b, but tho market is flat.
