Per Merchant Shipping and Underwriters' Association.—Arrived: Magellan, from Lyttelton (May 5); Portland, from Lyttelton (May 26); Dnntroon, from Lyttelton (June 15); Loch Fyne, from Lyttelton (June 16); Adamant, from Napier (May 9). September 6. In the. House of. Lords to-day, Earl Granville, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, took occasion to refer to debates which had taken place in the .House of Commons on the subject of the rejection by the House of Lords of the Irish Registration of Voters Bill. His Lordship, in the course of his remarks, said he desired to disaypw any sympathy wisi the tenor of the speeches made by his colleague, Mr. W. E. Forster, Chief Secretary for Ireland, who had blamed the Lords for persisting in a course calculated to lead to a necessity for change in the English Constitution,
