PALMERSTQN, August 13,

A meeting of the Jockey Club was held at the Carriers' Anns Hotel last evening. Mr. Fagan in the chair. The Secretary brought up a balance sheet showing receipts amounting to L 202 7s and expenditure to LlB5 14s 9d, leaving a credit balance of Ll6 12s 3d, which was considered satisfactory. An application was received from Mr. M'Donald regarding the disqualification of himself and his mare Blue Bell by thp Club qt the meeting, 1879, and requesting that the same should be removed, It was resolved that the disqualification be removed from the owner and mare. No application was received from the jockey, and nothing was done Regarding him. The above resolution is to be notified to the Dunedin Jockey Club.
