(prom our own correspondent.) WELLINGTON. August 4. Two shocks of earthquake were experienced in Wellington las,t night. Competent judges say the shocks caqie from west to east, and were in succession. They were nearly vertical, and the cause not more than twenty miles away. A comparison of the direction of the last shock and these point to a conclusion that they are caused by submarine disturbances. ■ '
