The district to extend from Awamoko to Longslip Station on the Otago side, thence from Lake Ohau to Elephant Hill on the Canterbury aide, by the Watershed. All horses qualified must be known to be the bona fidt property of the nominator, and to have been three months in the district prior to the meeting. Second horse to receive the entrance money in all events. Qualification fee, £l. Three horses to start, or no race. All entries must be Bent in to the Secretary, Whare-kuri Hotel, not later than 10 p m. on the night prior to the meeting. The Otago Jockey Club rules strictly adhered to. Five per cent, to he deducted from all stakes. . The decision of the stewards in all cases to be final. No protest will be entertained unless accompanied with LI, which will be forfeited should the same prove frivolous. - Owners of dogs are cautioned against bringing dogs on the comse, as poison is laid on. and around the same.
