(PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON. July 25. At the police court Charles W. Nicholson, for burglary, was committed for trial. Father O'Reilly was buried this afternoon. The coffin was borne to the cemetery by members of the Hibernian Society. The city bands amalgamated and made one band, comprising over 70 players. NEW PLYMOUTH. July 25. ■ Twenty-six native prisoners, including Te Whetu, were put on board the Hinemoa, which left the roadstead about 11 o'clock to-day, and steamed as far as the Sugar Loaves, where she now lies. It is reported she ia awaiting the arrival of the

Symmonds, at Paikakariki, was burnt to the ground this morning about four o'clock. None of the furniture was saved. GREYMOUTH. July 25. A Court of Enquiry re stranding of the steamer Kennedy was held on Saturday, before the Resident Magistrate and two Assessors, when Captain Dillon was held free of blame, and his certificate returned to him. A small cottage in Threadneedle-street was destroyed by fire on Saturday night, but the cause is unknown, as the owner was absent t at the time. It was not insured.
