QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY REVIEW.
The following is the complete programme for the Volunteer Review to be held on the Queen's Birthday:— Head Quarter Companies will assemble at W a.m._at the Volunteer Hall-No- 1 Comgny corps at Raasfofl^Artilfcv'TSLS rXWpdS Rifles, Otepopo Rifles, nth School Cidcts, Oaraaru Citizen Cadets, w Cadets-Ammunition will then be served an J taken up-Tell off the BattalionBattalion will march off in fours, with ad\ ance and rear irtiards -On arrival at Review Ground—Open column will be formal, quarter column on the leading Company—Column will take ground to the right in fours—Column will halt front —Deploy to left of leading Company—Line will advance by the centre—Halt Fix bayonets—Shoulderarms—Open order—General salute s —Unfix bayonets— Fire feu de joie—Close order—Break into column to the right—Column will advance Close to quarter column on leading company—Column wheel to the left, and halt—Open to column from leading company —The column will march iiast —Halt—Pile arms—Fall out for 20 minutes—Guard in charge of arms, &C Battalion fail in—Cnpile arms—Deploy to left— Line will retire—Halt front—Advance in echelon at 20 paces distant from the ri^'iit —Echelon halt, form company squares, and prepare for cavalry—Re-form companies—Line on leading company—Break into column to the right, and retire—Column will advance—Square i four deep on leading company, and prepare for cavalry !—Re-form column —Open to column from leading company—March off for attack and defence, as follows • Defence—Artillerv, Oamaru Citizen Cadets, and Oamaru High School Cadets; attack—Oamaru, Hampden, and Occpopo Rifles, and North School Cadets— Operations to lie carried on under independent commands (Acting-Major Morton, defence; Acting-Major Diehl, attack). Sham fight to commence and cease on given signals from Chief Commander. Column will then be re-formed—Ammunition pouches inspected— March back to Head-quarters.
