The Beautiful Star arrived early this morning from Dunedin with a cargo of merchandise, and sailed on the return voyage this afternoon with a cargo of local produce. The schooner Alert arrived this morning from Foxton with 1450 sleepers for the Government. The schooner Helena sailed this morning for Auckland. Mr. C. W. Turner's barque Hopeful has cleared the Customs for Liverpool with a cargo of wheat shipped by Messrs. P. Cunningham and Co. Captain Luly intends to to-night and hopes to make the passage Home in 00 days. e wish him and his neat little vessel a prosperous voyage. The total number of vessels entered inwards at the port of Oamaru during the month of April was 26, with a total tonnage of 3807 tons. The clearances outwards amounted to 29 vessels with a tonnage of 3915 tons. -
