SCHOOLS COMMITTEE.

The Monthly Meeting of the School Committee. was held iasfc evening, when \ there were present—Messrs. 'Ni Fleming, ' (Chairman), Forrester, Smith', Stevenson, ■Mollison, Mitchell, and Hardy (Secretary). The Minutes of the la&t Meeting having: been read and confirmed, a discussion took place with reference to several necessary amendments in < the Education Act. Smithy Mitchell, and Forrester, the Secretary to be Convener."
