It is important that the farmers of this district should bo made aware of the fact that there is no colonial coal so well-adapted to the purposes for which they require such fuel as that of Shag Point. It is cleaner, cheaper, and more economical than any other coal, cither foreign or colonial, for threshing machines and their kindred purposes. Of this fact those who have used it bear the most satisfactory of all testimonies—they will now burn no other. It is delivered in Oamara by the truck load at 18s 6d per ton. Orders may be sent to any coal dealer in Oamaru or to the pit, whence it will be sent promptly and direct to any siding.—[ Advt.] HoLi-owArsOrsnnnn- axd Pills—During every break of wintry weather exertions should be made by the afflicted to recover health before unremitting cold and trying storms set in. Throat ailments, coughs, wheezinqs, asthmatical affections, shortness of breath, morning nausea and accumulations of phlegm can readily be removed by rubbing this fine derivative Ointment twice a day upon the chest and neck. Holloway's treatment is strongly recommended with the view of giving immediate ease, preventing prospective danger and effecting permanent relief. These all-important ends his Ointt at and Pills can accomplish, and will surely prevent insidious diseases from fastening on the constitution to display themselves afterwards in those disastrous forms that will ] robably embitter life till death is almost pra} ad for.
