COMMERCIAL INTELLIGENCE.
AUCTIONEER'S REPORT. Mr. George Greenfield reports that he held a sale of household furniture, &c., at his new mart, Thames-street, on Saturday, at 12 o'clock. The attendance was very good and the bidding fair throughout, good prices being realised for all the furniture. He also reports that he submitted for sale at 2 o'clock, at hia horse repository, some frmtra and a chaff-cutter and horse-power. The attendance was then good also, the being passed, not reaching vendor's reserve, but the chaff-cutter and horsejjower were disposed of for L 23 10s.
CUSTOMS RETURNS. The Customs receipts at the Port of Oaanara for the week ending Saturday, the 13th. iost., amounted to LS2S Is lid.
.WEEKLY EXPORTS. The exports from the Port of Oamaru for the week ending Saturday, March 13th, ■were : 500 sacks wheat, 100 sacks flour, 210 J-sacks do, 300 £-sacks do, 300 J-sacks do. 30 sacks oatmeal, 4S sacks potatoes, 183 boles wool, and 3 cases of goods.
WELLINGTON. [bt telegraph.] March 13. Messrs. Laery and Campbell sold to-day at their mart sale :—Plum3, 7s 6£d per case; Hobart Town apples, Ss per case; rhubarb, 2s per doz. ; tomatoes, IJd per lb; potatoes, L 3 per ton ; onions, 73 per cwt; sharps, 4s 6d; pollard, 4s; bran, 7d; oatmeal, lsd to 2d; Hobart Town jams, 6s 6d, new season's.
