OTEPOPO ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of this Board was held on Friday. Present, —Messrs. Anderson (in the chair), Henderson (Treasurer), M'Donald, A. Marshall, Watson, Ketchin, Mitchell, and Diehl. On the ■ mption of Mr. M'Donald seconded by Mr. A. Marshall, the minutes of last meeting were adopted as read. The outward correspondence was read and approved. The inward correspondence was read and considered as follows A letter from the Ranger, regarding re-engagement.—The Clerk was instructed to acquaint him that when he wished to leave, he must give a. month's notice, according to agreement. A letter from the Commissioner of Crown Lands, asking if the Board had any objection to the sale of closed road lines in -sections 58, 59, and 78, block V., Otepopo. No objection. A letter from thp Treasury, intimating the payment ,of subsidy amounting to L 302 lGs 7d, less L 5 6s 6d for advertising. The Engineer was instructed to report on' 'the state of the two bridges on the rokd between sections 71-72 and 73-74, block YI. '■ ; •The next meeting was appointed to be held oil January 9th, 18S0. Accounts amounting to L 77 9s 7d, were pnssed for payment, after which the meeting broke up.
