NATIVE AFFAIRS AT OMARAMA.
[by telegraph.] (from our special correspondent.) Duntroon, August 11. The Armed Constabulary reached the Maori pah at 11 o'clock on Monday, and the Maoris had a quarter of an hour given them to decide what they would do. They promised to clear out at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The force remain at Omarama until then. The force seemed to awe the natives.
