(from ouk own correspondents. ) DUjSEDIK August 12. The body of a man about fifty years of age was found near Stuart-street Jetty this morning. Deceased had apparently gone to sleep alongside the water edge, and died from exposure. The body has not been identified. Messrs. Fish, M'lndoe, and Carrick will contest the election for Caversham. Mr. Macandrew definitely withdraws from the candidature for the city, and will stand for the Port. Strong efforts are being made to induce Messrs. Turnbull and Davie to stand for the City in the Ministerial interest.
