The Loan Bill Schedule is as follows : For carrying on public works and immigration authorised by an Act of the General Assembly now in force, or that hereafter may be in force, and for defray, ing the costs, the charges, and expenses of raising a loan authorised by this Act L 3,490,000; for the purchase of native lands, L 250,000; for Lyttelton harbor works (in lieu of amounts authorised to bo raised under the Lyttelton Harbor Works Loan Act, 1572, as amended by tho Financial Arrangements Act, 1S78), LIOO,OOO ; for defraying such cost, charges, and expenses (including liabilities) for Colonial defence as shall be authorised by the General Assemb 1 V>r the year ending 30th June, . L1SO,000; for defraying such costs, charges, and expenses (including liabilities for Colonial defence)as shall be authorised by the Assembly for the year ending 30th, ISBI, LIBO,OOO ; for redeeming guaranteed debentures, LSOO,OOO ; total, L 5,000,000.
