[FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENTS.] CHEJSTCHURCH. April 7. Miss Tilly Andrews, who is lodging in the White Hart Hotel, on going out to discover where the fire was, when the alarm was given that the goods in Mulligan's shop window were burning, set light to her curtains. The fire was soon put out, but she lost about L4O worth of wardrobe. On Saturday la3t, the first sod of the Malvern Branch Railway was turned. The line will be six and a half miles long, leading from Sheffield to the Malvern Pass, and opens up some good country, and connects the coal mines with the railway system. At the Supreme Court to-day the Judge, in his charge, said that he could not congratulate the Grand Jury on the diminution of crime. He alluded to the prevalence of arson, which lie had determined to put down with the strong hand of the law, though he did not intend his remarks to press hardly on those accused. Mr. Crcswick and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell appeared in " Othello" to a good house •>n Saturday. This was Mrs. DarrelFs first appearance after three years' absence.
