NORTH OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.

The regular monthly- meeting of the Committee) of this Association was held this mpjrjiiag, when there were present — Messrs. Connell (in the chair), Kerr, Bunlop, Morton, Little, Henderson, and Church (Secretary). The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, and the outward correspondence was read und approved. A letter from Mrs. Collis. with reference to the prize received by her for the largest prize-taker in dairy produce was referred to the Cup and Medal Commiitoo, with power to act.

Sir. J. M'-Lennan wrote resigning his seat on the Committee. The resignation was accepted, with an expression of regret at losing his valuable services. On the motion of Sir. Bunlop, seconded by Sir. Little, the Secretary was instructed to call a meeting of members of tlie Association for Saturday, Stli March, at 11 a.m., to adopt rules for the Association under the incorporating Act of 1877, to pass a resolution empowering the Committee to sell the presovt Show Ground, and to transact otliGi-- general business. It was resolved, that ail members of the Committee should be ashed to canvass for members of the Royal Agricultural Society of Ifew Zealand. The Secretary was instructed to call in all subscription lists and the amounts obtained from the various canvassers. Several accounts wei'e passed for payment, subject to being certified to as correct by tho Finance Committee. Aftor a vote of thanks to th.o Chairman had been passed, the meeting terminated.
