«, (Pes Agnes Donald, at Auckland.) [from ottr own correspondent.] The schooner Lady Palmerston was wrecked on a reef of Baliki while bound to Samoa. The vessel was partly insured. The cargo is a total loss. She is owned by Fisher, of Levuka. The three-masted schooner Winifred reports that the natives at Oba fired on the boats of her crew, wounding the seamen with poisoned arrows. Vv hen they .arrived on board the vessel the wounds were lanced and well washed out with nearly pure carbolic acid. A native in the boat pulled out the arrows.
